Booking information
We’re delighted that you’ve decided to book one of Millmans Cottages.  We’re situated in a lovely part of South Devon and you can look forward to a great holiday.
Booking a holiday is simple, we provide three easy ways to book:

1) Online booking – the fastest and most efficient way to book is online; our booking system is encrypted to ensure all your personal data is safe and secure. Your holiday is booked immediately and you can start planning your days out in Devon. And of course, we’ll send you an email to confirm your booking. Click here to check availability and book.

2) Telephone bookings – if you’d prefer a telephone booking, first check availability online and then call Tina on 01803 558213 and let her know about your holiday requirements. Sometimes there are late availability cottages or you may have a special request, especially if it’s for a celebration – we’re here to help to make your holiday special. Payment can be taken via your debit card or credit card or interbank transfer.

3) Postal bookings – either enquire by phone or email, letting us know your cottage requirements and dates and we’ll aim to get back to you within 24 hours with some options. When you’ve confirmed your requirements we will ask you to download a booking form for completion and we’ll require a deposit by cheque, debit card, credit card or interbank transfer to secure the booking but don’t worry, we’ll keep the cottage on hold for a couple of days until your deposit arrives. 

General information
Break prices shown are for a three night weekend break or a four night midweek break.
Prices quoted are in £ sterling.

Please note, Honeysuckle Cottage cannot be booked in conjunction with Jasmine Cottage.

Lettings are from Saturday to Saturday in high and peak season, flexible start and end days are available for holidays and short breaks in low and mid seasons.    
Bookings may be made online, by telephone,( land line or mobile)  or email and must be followed by a deposit of 25%  within 7 days by your chosen  payment method of either card payment online, card payment over the phone, bank transfer or cheque.  The balance is due six week prior to the start date of your holiday, if the booking is less than six weeks prior the full amount is required at the time of booking.
The named person who makes the booking must be one of the guests who is staying the selected cottage. She or he must be over 18 years old, this person is responsible for making sure that the following terms and conditions are adhered to.

Group Bookings
A refundable security deposit of £100 is required for each cottage for group bookings to be paid with the final payment and this will be returned in full within seven days of your holiday providing the cottage is left in a clean and tidy condition with no breakages, loss or damage.

Cancellation Policy
We realise that due to unforeseen circumstances sometimes bookings need to be cancelled, we do not wish to profit from your misfortune but cover our costs.
On cancellation of a booking  by you  no money will be refunded unless we secure another  booking of the same value, we will deduct any agents fees and bank charges  incurred and an admin fee of £75 and we will refund the balance within  7 days of securing a new booking. We will also gladly provide your insurance company with details if you are claiming cancellation insurance.  
We recommend you have holiday cancellation insurance.

Cancellation by us
The management is relieved of all liability should the cottage reserved not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. However we will endeavour to accommodate you in alternative cottage on site, if not we will try to find similar alternative accommodation for you with your agreement to the same value; any extra costs will be borne by you.

Arrival and Departure Time
Time of arrival is between 3pm and 6pm and the latest time for departure is 10am, earlier or later arrivals can be arranged by prior agreement, please ring or email.

Health and Safety
Please observe the health and safety advice given for the cottages and facilities. The management are not responsible for personal injury or personal property left in the cottages, laundry room and   grounds including vehicles and contents. The cottage and general facilities including car park is for the parties stated on the booking form only, they not transferable without prior agreement by the management. Only cars owned or hired by our guests are allowed in the car park.

Pool and Garden
The pool is available to guests from mid May to mid September, subject to weather and owners discretion.  Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times in the garden and pool area.  Please read and sign the pool safety sheet provided before using the pool facilities.

All the cottages are designated as non-smoking, we polity ask our guests who smoke to smoke away from the cottages and pool area.

Wi-Fi internet access is available free of charge for all our guests to use on the condition that it is not used to  view or download  from sites that have illegal content and or images.  The management is relieved of all liability should the WIFI internet access not be available due to circumstances beyond our control.

Two small or one larger dog is permitted in Rose, Primrose and Lily Cottages by prior arrangement only, they not to be left unattended in the cottages when you are off the premises and we ask you please not to allow them on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms. We love dogs but respect the fact that not everyone does,  in consideration for all guests the pool, deck, children’s play area and upper main garden is kept pet free.  Parkland for exercising your dog is approximately 100 metres from Millmans Cottages.  A pet fee of £3 per pet per day is charged and to be paid with the final payment, a security deposit may be requested.

During occupancy
The cottage booked is not to be occupied by more than the maximum number of persons stated on our website. The person who made the booking is responsible for the cottage, its contents, the health and safety of their party in the cottage, grounds and pool and to supervise children and dogs.

The cottage is to be vacated by 10am (unless arrangements have been made for a later departure), the cottage is to be left in a clean and tidy condition and any problems/breakages reported to the management.

Data Protection
All personal details are only held by the management of Millmans Cottages; please let us know if you wish us to remove you from our emailing marketing list.
